Intelligence Economic Science is an emerging interdisciplinary field leveraging research in psychology, neuroscience, and artificial intelligence in advancing economic science in which incentive has a central role. Established during the centennial of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, the center for Intelligence Economic Science (IES) embraces the vision to bring about a biological science of intelligence and applying it to advance economic science beyond today’s behavioral and cognitive economics. Against the backdrop of the digitalizing global economy, we envisage the IES approach to be broadly applicable to major areas of research in economics, finance, and other business areas along with the social sciences.
